Minimum Version
The minimum version that this library will work with is Simcenter STAR-CCM+ 2502. This is because the library works with surface material properties and a custom integration that was added in version 2502.
Library Files
license.cdtsl-
The Corrosion Djinn Toolset License file (
license.cdtsl) contains the polarization data for the Corrosion Djinn database and any custom polarization data that you may have created in Corrosion Djinn Standalone. Corrdesa.mdb-
The
Corrdesa.mdbfile contains the material details that are used inside of STAR-CCM+ to display the list of material options available under the Surface Materials section.
Note
This is an XML file containing the Materials Database to be read into STAR-CCM+.
This a default file format in Windows for a Microsoft Access Database, this file will not open in Microsoft Access.
Replacing the Corrdesa.MDB file
Note
If this is your first installation we recommend updating this file with the file provided in your installation folder as we've made improvements to the folder structure to make it easier to navigate and find materials in the appropriate environment.
If you have an update for the Corrdesa.MDB file this need to be replaced with one provided automatically, the location for this file can be found in the install directory for Simcenter Star-CCM+ under /star/data/. You need to restart Simcenter STAR-CCM+ after replacing this file.
